Brief History
Established on May 30, 1997
Founded by the Al Khairiyah Padangan Bojonegoro Foundation and continuously developing as an economics campus in Bojonegoro Regency.
STIE Cendekia is a private higher education institution in Bojonegoro founded by the Al Khairiyah Padangan Bojonegoro Foundation on May 30, 1997, and is located in Bojonegoro Regency.
Alongside its academic activities, since its establishment under Decree No.27/D/0/1997 until 2004, government recognition and public trust continued to grow. STIE Cendekia has two study programs, namely Bachelor of Management and Bachelor of Accounting, each with registered status.
Continuous improvement and adjustment to developments in the education sector have been carried out. Within a five-year period, STIE Cendekia achieved an improved accreditation status from BAN-PT, with the Management Study Program accredited “B” and the Accounting Study Program accredited “C”.
Entering the following decade, STIE Cendekia — now more widely known as STIEKIA — continued improving its academic quality through LAMEMBA (the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting). The Management Study Program earned a “Good” accreditation in October 2022, followed by the Accounting Study Program earning a “Very Good” accreditation on July 30, 2024.
Beyond academic excellence, STIEKIA has actively built national and international partnerships, highlighted by the “The Best International Collaboration on Accounting of The Year 2024” award from the Indonesian Association of Accounting Lecturers. In 2025, coinciding with its 28th anniversary (Dies Natalis), campus leadership was also renewed through the inauguration of the Chair of STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro for the 2025–2029 term, continuing the campus’s commitment to producing excellent, professional graduates ready to compete in the workforce.
