STIEKIA 2026 PKKMB First Day Attended by 153 Students, Equipping Students with Campus Insights and the Digital Era

Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Cendekia (STIEKIA) Bojonegoro officially began its series of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the year 2026 on Friday (18/9/2026). The first day of PKKMB was attended by 153 new students who appeared enthusiastic in participating in the entire series of activities.

The PKKMB activity serves as an initial momentum for new students to get to know the higher education environment, academic community, education system, and various dynamics of campus life more closely. On the first day, students received a number of important materials as preparation to begin their academic journey at STIEKIA.
The opening of the STIEKIA 2026 PKKMB was officially conducted by the Chairman of the Al Khairiyah Foundation, Mr. Yasmani, S.Pd., M.Pd.I., together with the Chair of STIEKIA, Dr. Nurul Mazidah, SE., MSA., Ak. The opening marked the start of the PKKMB activity series designed to help new students adapt to the higher education environment.

The series of activities then continued with an introduction to the academic community, which included introducing STIEKIA lecturers and educational staff. Through this session, new students were introduced to the academic and educational support elements that will interact with and accompany them during their lecture process.
In addition to the introduction to the campus environment, students also received material regarding the higher education system as well as the development of higher education in the digital era and the Industrial Revolution.

The material carried the theme “Welcome to Campus 5.0: Becoming Adaptive Students in the Digital and AI Era,” which was presented by the Vice Chair I for Academic Affairs of STIEKIA, Ms. Hafidza Nash'ul Amrina, S.Pd., M.Pd.
In the material, students were invited to understand the changes in the world of higher education amidst the development of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Students are not only required to have academic abilities but also need to build adaptability, critical thinking, utilize technology wisely, and be prepared to face changes in the world of work and increasingly dynamic social life.

The Campus 5.0 concept serves as an introduction for new students to understand that technological development must go hand in hand with strengthening human competence and character. The presence of AI in various fields of life is both a challenge and an opportunity that needs to be addressed intelligently by the generation of students.
Enthusiasm was evident from the students' involvement throughout the first day's activities. With 153 participants, the STIEKIA 2026 PKKMB is expected to be the first step for new students to know, understand, and become part of the academic life at STIEKIA.

Through PKKMB 2026, STIEKIA is committed to building students who are not only ready to follow the learning process in higher education but are also able to adapt to technological developments, possess character, are competitive, and are ready to face future challenges.
The subsequent STIEKIA 2026 PKKMB series will be filled with various briefing activities, introductions to the campus environment, and activities designed to build togetherness and the readiness of new students in undergoing academic life at STIEKIA.
