Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Cendekia (STIEKIA) Bojonegoro continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting the internationalization of education through the Cultural Camp Batch 3 in 2026. One of the agendas for this activity was a visit by 10 international students to the Bojonegoro Regency Government on Friday (2/10/2026).
Taking place in the Batik Madrim Room, 2nd Floor, Bojonegoro Regency Government Complex, the group of international students had the opportunity to meet and interact directly with the Regent of Bojonegoro, Mr. Setyo Wahono.
The 10 students participating in Cultural Camp Batch 3 come from Canada, France, and Malaysia. The visit was part of a series of activities to introduce the potential, culture, and life of the Bojonegoro community to students from various countries.
The STIEKIA group was accompanied by the Chairman of the Al Khairiyah Padangan Foundation, Mr. Yasmani, S.Pd., M.Pd., and the Chairwoman of STIEKIA, Dr. Nurul Mazidah, SE., MSA., Ak. The presence of the foundation and university leadership further demonstrates support for strengthening international networks and developing global experiences for students.
The STIEKIA Cultural Camp activity itself has been held for three consecutive years and in 2026 it entered its 3rd Batch. This program is part of STIEKIA's efforts to provide cross-cultural learning experiences while opening up space for interaction between STIEKIA students and students from various countries.
Through the Cultural Camp, students not only learn about cultural diversity but also get the opportunity to directly recognize various regional potentials, government institutions, educational environments, as well as the social and cultural life of the local community.
STIEKIA continues to push the internationalization agenda through various programs involving lecturers and students in international-scale activities. These efforts are directed at broadening global horizons, building international networks, and providing broader academic and social experiences for the academic community.
The visit to the Bojonegoro Regency Government is expected to be a valuable experience for the international students as well as part of the effort to introduce Bojonegoro as a region that is open to collaboration, cultural exchange, and international cooperation.
